Matakana Boutique can graciously host up to 22 guests, offering a unique collection of experiences that have been lived, dreamed and brought to life.
Amy Hope, the Creative Director and Co-founder, in partnership with her husband Simon Hope, is the driving force behind Matakana Boutique and, as devoted residents of Matakana, their journey in the region commenced in 2016 with Amy's passion for interior design and a keen eye for detail, leading to the creation of the Black & White Barn, a rustic and enchanting boutique accommodation. 

In late 2018 they purchased White Cottage, the iconic Matakana residence, originally constructed by the Lovelock Cozen family in 1883 using native Kauai sourced from nearby. This graceful home was meticulously revitalised by Amy and Simon to create a modernised twist in keeping with is iconic character.
Glasshouse and The View are more recent additions to the accommodation boutique and their distinctive qualities further complement the selection which is geared to cater for individual preferences.
